Agrodome Woollen Mill
Witness a 1906 wool carding machine which
is still working after nearly a century. View a large range
of homespun, hand knitted woven garments made from pure New
Zealand wool, a majority of which are hand made by Rotorua
locals. Carding and spinning demonstrations run throughout
the day.

Famous Show where you will meet a real Kiwi Shearer. During
this multi award winning show you will be entertained and
informed as he introduces 19 breeds of champion sheep,
shears a sheep, works the dogs and completes the NZ dog
trial. You may have the opportunity during the show to milk
a cow, feed a lamb and even buy a sheep!
Shearing Shed Museum
A recreated 1950’s era shearing shed with a wide range of
equipment such as grinders, wool presses and other shearing
paraphernalia from the 1950’s era. Museum includes a DVD
theatre featuring old shearing footage. Open from 8:30am to
5:00pm daily.
The Station House Cafe
The Station House café is based at the
Agrodome and is a great place to relax and grab a coffee and
cake. This cosy and comfortable café provides a great range
of café style food and beverages.
